WHAT ARE YOUR RATES AND ACCEPTED FORMS OF PAYMENT?

My session fee is currently $160 per 50 minute session. I accept credit, cash, check, or pre-tax Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) / Health Spending Accounts (HSAs). A sliding fee scale based on annual income may be considered for clients who experience financial hardship. Please reach out for more information.

DO YOU ACCEPT HEALTH INSURANCE?

I am an out-of-network provider and do not accept health insurance, however, I can provide a monthly superbill for “out-of-network” clinical services, which may be covered in part or in full by your health insurance plan. Please check your coverage carefully by asking your provider these questions:

  • Do I have "out-of-network" mental health insurance benefits?

  • What is my deductible and has it been met?

  • What is my "co-insurance"?

  • How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?

  • What is the coverage amount per session?

  • Is approval required from my primary care doctor?

  • In instances where out-of-network benefits are covered, you will be responsible for payment at the time of service and your insurance will reimburse your expenses.

HOW OFTEN WILL WE MEET AND FOR HOW LONG?

We will meet once a week, during a consistent time slot. Maintaining this consistency is essential. Research shows that therapeutic change is due in large part to the therapeutic alliance and like all relationships, they take time and care to grow. If you are ready to invest in long-lasting change, instead of quick fixes that only address the surface, we may be a great fit.

ARE SESSIONS HELD IN-PERSON OR VIRTUALLY?

My practice is currently fully remote, so you may join your sessions from the comfort of your home at a time that is convenient for your schedule. Sessions are conducted via a HIPAA-compliant video platform. I will be opening up in-person appointments in the near future in Marin, San Francisco and Berkeley.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

I require 48-hours in advance to change or cancel a session, otherwise you will be billed for the session in full.

Reach out to schedule a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation. This will give you an opportunity to share with me about your interest in therapy and to ask any questions you may have. From there, we may schedule an intake so that I can learn more about you and your concerns and we can determine if we feel aligned to begin this deeply fulfilling work.
