ABOUT DANIELLE
I specialize in working with couples navigating big life transformations—whether it’s becoming new parents, grieving the loss of a parent, recovering from infidelity, or striving to improve communication and deepen intimacy.
My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where partners can better understand themselves and each other, strengthen their connection, and build healthier relationship patterns. My approach is collaborative, relational, and client-centered. I help clients explore the parts of themselves and their relationships that may have been unacknowledged or unspoken, while also offering practical tools to support healing and growth. I draw from psychodynamic, attachment, somatic, internal family systems and parts principles, and I am trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy and Relational Life Therapy - both of which are powerful frameworks for couples seeking meaningful and lasting change.
In addition to my couples work, I support adult individuals through challenges such as anxiety, transition, grief, trauma and relational challenges. I also periodically offer group therapy and intensive multi-day partner workshops.
As a white, cis, culturally humble and trauma-informed therapist, my approach ensures that clients of all identities and backgrounds feel seen, respected and liberated from their individual experiences of marginalization. I am committed to deconstructing harmful societal narratives and reflecting on my own positionality to support authentic connection.
Before becoming a therapist, I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Human Motivation and Self-Transformation from New York University and completed an executive coaching certification program from The Co-Active Training Institute, specializing in co-founder and leadership relational coaching. I later received my Master’s in Counseling Psychology from The Wright Institute and am currently a registered associate psychotherapist (AMFT/APCC), focusing primarily on intimate couples including platonic couples (e.g. parent/adult children, adult siblings,
co-founders/business partners).
In addition to my clinical education, I am trained in Vedic meditation and mindfulness, which deeply informs my lens as a therapist. Outside of my work, I find joy in spending time with my husband, daughter, and our big fluffy dog, Sequoia. I feel most at home outdoors—whether hiking, surfing, or biking—and in experiencing as much live music as possible.
